Tirtha Laxmi is one of the differently-abled women who has proved that all we need in life is strong willpower and determination. Tirtha who is 43, is living happily with her family at Ghatekulo, Kathmandu. Though she couldn't hear and speak, her determination on work is immense. She got skilful training on Sewing from Manushi and she is now our producer for different home textiles and fashion clothing .she is economically empowered, confident women today. She has three normal kids and she has sent her children to a good school by her own income. She is thankful to Manushi, that she has skills on her hand today, she is earning and supporting her family. She says'she gets more inspired when people like her work".
