Sal Maya Magar is from Morang, Jhapa and got married to her husband who was from Dhadhing. She came to Kathmandu more than 25 years ago to see how Kathmandu city looks like and to earn a living she worked in a carpet factory. She has been working in the New SADLE for more than 20 years now and is really happy that she is working here as she feels safer and has better benefits than the carpet factory. Her aim is to educate her children and make them able to stand on their feet.
Urmila Bajracharya is a resident of Patan, Kathmandu. She is 46 years of age and she has been working on and off for this organization. It has been 5 years that she has been continuously working here. She works as a tailor here. She wants to learn more skills and techniques of tailoring and wants to give the knowledge that she has to others as well. She dislikes people who backbite and likes to chat with her group of friends. She like the flexibility of New SADLE and she can work part-time as well when she has other priorities at her home.
