I come from Hetauda, Nepal.
Nanu Kumari originally from Hetauda, joined New SADLE in the year 2002 after a year’s treatment at Anandaban Hospital and started working in the Dhaka Weaving Section as she had learned that skill earlier. She was brought to New SADLE by her brother Tek Bahadur Kuswar, who is also a leprosy patient working in bags section at New SADLE. Her fingers are senseless but luckily she has no deformities on her body parts. She was immediately taken to Anandaban hospital by her brother Tek Bahadur as he saw red scars on her body parts at the age of twelve. At present, she is married and has a daughter named Sonu Ghising, studying at grade seven in Lovely Angles School run by New SADLE. She feels happy working here and is thankful for providing her the opportunity.
