Sita Limbu

I come from Therathum, Nepal.

Sita Limbu, a resident of Therathum had always dreamt living in an urban city as a child and when she was 19 she came to Kathmandu and found that it was a place with a lot of opportunities and stayed on. Initially, she worked at her cousins' carpet factory. She had learned how to weave a carpet at her own home because it is in their culture to learn this craft and this helped her getting employment in Kathmandu. It is here in New SADLE that she perfected this craft of weaving on a loom and now she not only weaves Dhaka Textile but also stitches bag and also helps out with packaging the products. It is here that she found a family like behaviour. She is treated well and she really likes working here. She is trying to save up for her old age so she works 7 days a week and gets paid over time. Later when she has enough saving she wants to set up a tailoring shop by herself.

I made these by myself
